Vicky Lindo Ceramics is the creative partnership of Vicky Lindo and Bill Brookes. They make slip cast earthenware sgraffito pottery at The Pigeon Club Pottery in Bideford Devon.Their work is inspired by the slipware pottery produced in North Devon in the 18th,19th and early 20th century.
It has been a great privilege to be part of their amazing story. Alveston Fine Arts came into being with the help of this duo. The profits from their sales has enabled the gallery to help and promote new graduate talent.
Vicky and Bill are the winners of The British Ceramics Biennial 2019 with the Dead Dad Diary exhibition. This entire body of work has been purchased by the Victoria and Albert Museum, London in 2020. They are fast becoming the darlings of the British Pottery world.
Alveston Fine Arts exhibited for the first time at Collect2020, Somerset House with a body of work made especially for the show. Their work sold out by the end of the first public day.
